On March 27th, the Scientific Research Equipment Development Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, undertaken by the Anhui Institute of Optics and Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, “On-line Monitoring System for Atmospheric Volatile Organic Contaminant Proton Transfer Reaction Mass Spectrometry†passed the acceptance of the expert group organized by the Planning and Finance Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The members of the acceptance team are composed of experts from the University of Science and Technology of China, Anhui Normal University, Nanjing Information Engineering University, and Hefei Intelligent Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The expert group listened carefully to the project research report and the final report of the project, as well as the test report made by the technical test team, and verified the on-site operation and operation of the equipment and equipment, and reviewed the key component purchase contract and financial documents provided by the project team. And technical information, questioned and made suggestions on relevant issues.
The expert group unanimously agreed that the main proton transfer reaction mass spectrometry (PTR-MS) monitoring instruments developed by the project team met or exceeded the requirements of the contract work book. The concentration detection accuracy reached the order of ppt. Far below the atmospheric volatile organic pollutant emission limits listed in the National Air Pollutant Integrated Emission Standards, the instrument is innovative in terms of ion source design and isomer resolution. The successful development of the instrument will play an important role in the field of atmospheric photochemical reaction research and real-time online detection of atmospheric trace organic pollution, lung cancer and other disease-assisted diagnosis. The acceptance expert group unanimously agreed that the scientific research equipment development project passed the acceptance.
