Chicago Still & Box, 3/6/16

This is from Steve Redick:

On Monday, March 7th, 2016, I responded to a call at 5336 W. Leland Avenue, a location in a normally quiet but heavily trafficked neighborhood. The radio reported a basement fire that had spread to all floors of a frame house. Engine 94 did an excellent job finding a safe and effective access point from the rear of the building. They stretched a 4-inch supply line from the alley across the next block, which was a smart move. From my perspective, the operation went very smoothly. I got some great shots of the roof operations as the fire was venting out the back of the structure. It didn’t take long for the handlines to bring the fire under control.
