Exports of Hunan's auto parts exports surged by US$45.38 million

The report of the Hunan Automobile Industry Internationalization Conference convened yesterday yesterday revealed that from January to November this year, the export of automobile parts and components in our province reached US$45.38 million, a substantial increase over the same period of last year, with a growth rate of nearly 74%. The total export volume of the province is 1.34%. It is estimated that with the entry of global auto parts giants such as Germany Bosch and France Valeo, and the gradual integration of more parts manufacturers in the province into the global procurement system, in the next few years, there will be one export of auto parts products in our province. A big leap.

The 7-member delegation of the Hunan Association of Hunan in the United States, led by President Ling Tiankai, came to Changsha yesterday. Under the auspices of the Provincial Department of Commerce, a number of vivid automobile classes were organized for many automobile companies in Hunan. At the report meeting, the report “How to enter the ranks of US auto parts suppliers” made by Ms. Yang Limei of her hometown Yiyang attracted the participants’ resonance.

“When I was engaged in procurement at Ford Motor Company in 2002, I came to China and requested to purchase 1 billion U.S. dollars of auto parts and components in China in the next 10 years. Unfortunately, even 100 million U.S. dollars have not been purchased.” Ms. Yang enthusiastically opened her eyes to the point. The gaps and deficiencies of China's auto parts companies and US auto parts companies have been eliminated, that is, production, manufacturing, measurement, packaging, and process levels have failed. The Yiyang, who had worked for Ford Motors's Purchasing Department and Siemens' Purchasing Department for two years and six years respectively, is now head of the purchasing department of GM's primary-supply buyer.
