The Lake Forest Fire Department responded to a house fire at 792 Greenbriar Lane around noon on November 5, 2015. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered heavy flames coming from the rear of a large, two-story home. Due to the intensity of the fire, the incident was upgraded to a Box Alarm, which called for additional fire companies to assist. Crews worked quickly and managed to bring the fire under control within approximately 40 minutes.
Residents in the area were advised to keep windows closed and stay indoors as the fire burned. No injuries have been reported at this time, though the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Local authorities are working with the fire department to determine what led to the blaze.
