On the morning of October 30, the data center of Jilin Petrochemical Company was unveiled. According to reports, this is the largest data center in Northeast China, and it is also the production and data center of the two major information systems of the Group's ERP and gas stations.
Jilin Petrochemical Data Center is located in the southeast of Jilin High-tech Development Zone, adjacent to the Songhua River. The entire data center campus covers an area of ​​19,000 square meters. It has built-in central control room, VIP room, hosting, machine leasing and other special computer room areas and VIP customer rooms and customer service centers. Up to 400 cabinets can be placed and 3200 servers can be managed. The data center is designed and constructed by IBM, follows international standards for operation and maintenance management, equipped with advanced and improved computer room facilities and high-end network equipment, and has reached international advanced level in terms of safety, stability and scalability. Therefore, the group company chose to place production data from China Petroleum's ERP system and gas station management system at this data center.
In addition to providing information services for Jilin Petrochemical, the data center will also provide data outsourcing and backup services for remote disasters in the same city for large and medium-sized companies under the group company.
The data center of Jilin Petrochemical started construction in August 2008 and was basically completed at the end of June 2009. At present, the company's 260 cabinets have settled in the data center.
