Liu Zhi pointed out that the production capacity of the automotive industry is far greater than the demand, and the issue of surplus is more prominent. The production capacity of the automotive industry is currently larger than the sales of 2 million vehicles, and the production capacity under construction is still 2.2 million. He said that the development of the mid- and long-term development plan for the automotive research and development committee has been basically completed. According to the idea of ​​this topic, the automobile industry in the future will make relatively large adjustments. There are five aspects regarding the adjustment of the auto industry: First, the layout structure of the auto industry and the organizational structure of production enterprises must be adjusted; Second, products with independent brands and independent intellectual property rights should be strongly encouraged; Third, the automobile should be further standardized and improved. The consumption environment includes the relevant policies to encourage residents to consume small-displacement economical cars. Liu Zhi also reiterated that in light of the so-called "restricted limits" problem in some areas, studies are under way to formulate standards for environmental protection and performance of small-displacement vehicles. In the future, all small-displacement vehicles that meet this requirement will be cancelled. Restrictive measures, while the state should also give some preferential policies on taxation.
