1. **Where is your location?**
We are located in Qingdao City, China, close to Liuting Airport. It takes about 30 minutes by car to reach our company.
2. **What is the new product development process?**
After receiving a tooling and sample order with a 50% deposit, we hold a meeting to plan the schedule, design patterns, fixtures, and gauges in-house, purchase mold steel, machine, inspect, and send out samples with an initial inspection report.
3. **How long is the manufacturing lead time?**
Mass production typically takes 90 days after sample approval. The lead time includes transportation. Special arrangements can be made for urgent orders.
4. **What are the terms for purchasing goods?**
We usually offer FOB and CIF (Carriage, Insurance & Freight). CIF includes freight to your nominated sea port. Local costs and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
5. **What are the payment terms?**
Payment terms are negotiable. Initially, we require 50% of the tooling fee in advance, with the balance payable upon sample acceptance. Production orders may vary, but we prefer 50% deposit and the balance via T/T before shipment.
6. **How long does it take to ship goods from China by sea?**
It takes approximately 5 weeks to European ports plus 1 week for customs clearance, totaling 6–7 weeks. For the US, it takes about 2 weeks to the east coast and 3 weeks to the west coast. All shipments go through Qingdao Port.
7. **Is there a minimum volume required for international purchases?**
There is no minimum volume, but higher volumes are more economical due to fixed import costs. Each customer is assessed individually.
