**Pressure Relief Valve**
The Pressure Sustaining/Relief Valve is a hydraulically operated, pilot-controlled, modulating valve designed to maintain a constant upstream pressure within tight limits. It can be used for pressure relief, pressure sustaining, back pressure control, or unloading functions in a bypass system.
In operation, the valve is actuated by line pressure through a pilot control system, opening quickly to maintain steady line pressure but closing gradually to prevent pressure surges. The operation is fully automatic, and pressure settings can be easily adjusted by turning the screw located on top of the pilot.
