Description The HUT series DP servo-hydraulic universal testing machine is designed with an up-mounted actuator structure. This innovative design allows bidirectional control of tension and compression within a single space using a differential cylinder. Advanced side action hydraulic grips provide excellent gripping performance for high-strength and high-hardness materials without the need for initial gripping force.       The clearance-free structure and the ability to adjust the test space by moving the actuator up and down make operation simple and efficient. This machine is primarily used for tensile testing of metallic materials. Side action hydraulic grip Wance's dual side-acting grips incorporate our latest patented technology. This self-centering mechanical synchronizer offers many improvements over hydraulic or mechanical rack and pinion designs commonly found in the marketplace.
Side-load dampening reduces the risk of grip damage when testing slightly bent or irregularly shaped specimens such as rebar or wire rod.
Opposing jaw faces repeatedly self-center during specimen clamping, reducing testing time and eliminating the need to resynchronize the grip faces between tests.
The synchronizer is located outside the gripping pocket, preventing mechanical failure due to contamination.
Tensile tests on a wide range of materials including: steel rod and plate, machined rounds and flats, reinforcement bar, 3- and 7-wire strand, conveyor belt, and wood products.
Hydraulic power unit
Equipped with a Cartridge logic valve in the hydraulic system of the equipment, it can smartly regulate system pressure. The pressure servo technology ensures that the system pressure is always higher than the cylinder pressure by 1MPa. When the test force is low, the pump output pressure is lower, and when the test force increases, the pump output pressure increases proportionally.
The differential pressure is adjustable to ensure no shaking during testing, thus saving energy and reducing heating.
Low noise: Gear pump combined with our HPU production technology reduces noise, improving the working conditions for operators.
Easy installation and maintenance: The hydraulic unit is designed with a semi-open structure. Rear cover opens two doors, facilitating maintenance and parts replacement.
Low heating and good cooling: The unique pressure differential servo control technique significantly reduces system heat. The hydraulic unit is designed with a semi-open structure and air-cooling device. Cooling devices can start automatically or manually. The air-cooling motor automatically starts when the oil temperature reaches the preset value, ensuring the system continues to function normally in high-temperature environments.
High filtration precision: Triple filter, with particle size less than 5 microns before entering the servo valve, improving the service life of the servo valve and control accuracy, making maintenance easier.
Pressure overload protection: When the pressure exceeds the system rated pressure, the relief valve begins to overflow, ensuring the security of the entire system.
Seal method: Piping lines are sealed with high-pressure hose sleeve type Cone fittings with excellent sealing performance, which can be repeatedly assembled and disassembled. Cylinder piston rod and piston seals use U-seals and dust rings, along with large-size guide rings that offer high resistance to lateral forces and low friction, ensuring zero leakage and a long service life for the cylinder.
The system has two sets of differential circuits. One is for the main cylinder, allowing the main cylinder piston to return quickly after the test ends, improving work efficiency. Another is for the clamping cylinder. The clamping cylinder allows fast and low-pressure gripping of the specimen. Only after the samples are fully clamped, extra-high pressure is supplied, avoiding damage to the sample due to excessive clamping force. After the specimen breaks, high pressure is automatically released. This design takes into account both efficiency and operational safety.

PTFE belongs to the group of thermoplastics but cannot be processed using the standard techniques for thermo-plastics such as e.g. injection molding. The very high molecular weight results in a too high melt viscosity and allows PTFE to be processed only with the special press and sinter methods as used in the manufacture of sintered ceramics.
