Worker falls from tree to garage roof in Buffalo Grove, 5/21/15

This is from Larry Shapiro:

On May 21, 2015, firefighters from Buffalo Grove were called to 271 Lincoln Terrace after a tree worker fell from a crane while working on a large tree. The incident occurred when the worker was lifted up with the crane to reach an upper branch. After securing the branch to the crane, he somehow lost his balance and fell approximately 30 to 40 feet, landing on the roof of a detached garage below.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and assessed the injured worker. He was carefully placed on a backboard and then secured in a Stokes basket before being lowered to the ground for transport to a local hospital. The operation was conducted with precision and care, ensuring the patient's safety during the rescue.

Here are some photos from the scene, along with a short video capturing the aftermath of the accident.
