Application This centrifuge is designed for intermittent solids discharge while separating two immiscible liquid phases of different densities. It is widely used in applications such as fish press liquid separation, stick water and extract processing, and purification of fish oil, liver oil, animal fats, peel oil, and similar products. Standard Design The machine includes a frame with a horizontal drive shaft, clutch, brake, worm gear, lubricating oil bath, and vertical bowl spindle. The bowl is mounted on top of the spindle inside the frame structure. The feed and liquid discharge system, including the heavy phase paring disc pump, is also supported by this framework. All components that come into contact with the process liquids are made of stainless steel. The bowl is of the solid-ejecting disc type with a hydraulic operating system. The electric motor is either variable frequency drive or controlled-torque type. Basic Equipment Includes concentrator/purifier parts, inlet and outlet devices, revolution counter, erosion protection set, illuminated sight glass box for light phase outlet, vibration switch, vibration-isolating base plate, flange motor, and a set of tools and spare parts. Optional Extras Additional options include start-up equipment, frequency converter, discharge control panel, standard fittings, CIP valves and fittings, and a serviceability package for online monitoring of the separator’s status.
