In December 2006, the European Commission decided to launch an anti-dumping investigation on polyvinyl alcohol exported to the European Union between China's mainland and Taiwan from October 2005 to September 2006. In September 2007, the European Commission decided to levy this product for a period of 6 years. The temporary anti-dumping duty for the month is 10%.
