The Lake Forest Fire Department responded to a residential fire at 792 Greenbriar Lane around noon on November 5, 2015. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered heavy flames coming from the rear of a large, two-story home. Due to the intensity of the fire, the incident was upgraded to a Box Alarm, which called for additional fire companies to assist. The blaze was fully under control within approximately 40 minutes, and no injuries were reported.
Residents in the area were advised to remain cautious as smoke and debris lingered in the air. Firefighters worked diligently to ensure the structure was fully secured and to prevent any potential spread to neighboring homes. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by local authorities.
