Kumho Tire Releases 2012 Annual Service Policy

On January 14, 2012, Kumho Tire announced the 2011 after-sales service, product quality testing and other new quality assurance policies in 2012.

According to reports, since April 2011, Kumho Tire has carried out services including recalls and free testing. As of the end of December 2011, Kumho Tire had received and tested approximately 850,000 vehicles in more than 2,500 distributors and designated 4S stores throughout the country, with a total of approximately 410,000 tires recalled and tested for free replacement.

Kumho Tire stated that since January 1, 2012, the recall work will be replaced by routine work. The 400 customer service hotline established during the recall will continue in a fixed mode. The product guarantee policy and five-year warranty period will continue to be implemented. In addition, Kumho also announced that it will extend the VIP protection policy and promotion time again in 2012 and extend the “three-guarantee service period” from three years to five years. On the other hand, the development of Kumho's product technology continues to advance. In 2012, Kumho launched two new products tailored specifically for Chinese consumers.
