In 2014, the number of motorists in the country exceeded 300 million, and the number of motorists was 247 million, accounting for 81.62% of the total number of drivers. The number of new motorists was 27.84 million. From the driving experience of drivers, the number of drivers who have been driving for less than one year is 29.67 million, accounting for 9.82% of the total number of drivers. There are 230 million male drivers, accounting for 76.52%, and 70.92 million female drivers, accounting for 23.48%, an increase of 1.72 percentage points compared with 2013.
