Ningbo Qianhe Environmental Oil Spill Emergency Rescue and Ship Waste Receiving Project passed the review

On September 1, the preliminary design of the Ningbo Qianhe Environmental Oil Spill Emergency Rescue and Ship Waste Receiving Terminal Project was reviewed by the Ningbo Port Authority. The project plans to use a coastline of 287 meters to build an emergency rescue and 1000 ton oil spill emergency rescue and ship waste receiving berths, with a designed annual capacity of 729,000 tons. The rear land area is equipped with a total tank capacity of 42,000 cubic meters of storage tanks and other transportation, loading and unloading auxiliary facilities, with a total investment of about 167 million yuan.

In recent years, with the rapid development of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, ships entering and leaving the port have grown rapidly. Marine pollution accidents such as ship traffic accidents and oil spills and oil spills have occurred from time to time, and ship oil and solid waste have increased significantly.
