According to a person from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the "Standard Conditions for Power Battery Industry" has entered the final approval stage and is expected to be released this year.
The specification clarifies the basic requirements of the power battery enterprise, production conditions, technical capability requirements, product requirements, quality assurance capability requirements, sales and after-sales service and other conditions.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that the work required in China is to promote technological progress. The production of power batteries in China is not the most. Currently, it is necessary to develop and improve relatively mature lithium-ion batteries, and strengthen the deployment of new battery systems. At present, China's single battery has made great progress, but after the battery pack is made, the performance will be greatly reduced. Moreover, there is still a big gap between China and the international level in battery control, storage technology and system integration.
Due to the overall small dispersion of lithium-ion power battery companies in China, most of the production capacity is not up to standard. The "Conditions" aim to strengthen the safety and supervision of automotive power battery products, promote technological advancement and large-scale development of the industry, and benefit leading enterprises.
