Romania's natural gas reserves account for 0.4% of the world

According to figures provided by British Petroleum (BP), in 2007, proven natural gas reserves in Romania were 630 billion cubic meters, accounting for 0.4% of global natural gas reserves. At the end of 1997, Romania's proven natural gas reserves were estimated at 200 billion cubic meters.
