The Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator is now in its fourth year, bringing together 12 startups from Alabama, eight other U.S. states, and even Latvia. As part of the 2023 cohort, the Alabama News Center is shining a light on these innovative companies. In this Startup Spotlight, we're featuring EV Safe Charge.
EV Safe Charge Inc., based in Los Angeles, is led by founder and CEO Caradoc Ehrenhalt. The company is focused on revolutionizing the way people charge their electric vehicles with sustainable and flexible solutions. Their latest innovation, ZiGGY, is a mobile charging robot that brings a new level of convenience to EV owners. Equipped with interactive digital screens, it not only provides on-demand charging but also offers advertising revenue opportunities for businesses.
Ehrenhalt was inspired to start the company after purchasing his first electric vehicle.
