China's LED optical component standardization process accelerates

In this regard, GSC cooperated with LED industry leading enterprises to establish LED industry patent alliance, jointly establish LED industry patent database, and cooperate with university scientific research personnel to carry out key technologies and common technology research and development of LED lighting extension, chip, packaging and lighting application, and implement enterprise-platform - Collaborative innovation mechanisms between universities and research institutes to realize intellectual property rights, promote enterprises to establish intellectual property management norms, help enterprises to carry out intellectual property rights protection, and respond to intellectual property litigation.
In terms of LED lighting standards, Dr. Li Wenyu from GSC Strategic Development Department introduced that in the first half of 2013, the total output value of LED industry in Guangdong Province was 125.168 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.73. The emerging lighting market is developing well. Among them, Shenzhen, Huizhou and Zhongshan are the top three. At the same time, Guangdong's LED industry's foreign trade export momentum is strong, and the core components of the LED industry are showing good growth. In terms of global standard application layout, LED lighting leading enterprises have joined the LED lighting standard optical component application alliance, setting off a new climax of LED lighting standard optical component promotion and application. According to Zhu Wenliang, the person in charge of the application of LED lighting and optical components, the current LED lighting standard optical component application alliance is growing, with nearly 100 members. Some companies have already introduced LED lighting standard optical components to the market and have been widely recognized. .
