Differentiation between vertical and horizontal motors

It is often asked how vertical motors and horizontal motors can be distinguished from model numbers. In fact, vertical and horizontal motor companies are not models and all use motor models. We can distinguish between the following elements.

1, installation method

Take motor model Y112M-4B3 as an example. B3 stands for horizontal installation, B5 for vertical installation, and B35 for vertical horizontal type.

2, appearance

Different installation causes different appearance. The vertical motor has a flange, and the axis of its output shaft is perpendicular to the chassis. Horizontal motors are equipped with a set of adjustable eccentric blocks at both ends of the rotor shaft, with the w mark.

In general, due to the convenience of horizontal motor installation, the most commonly used motors are horizontal motors.
