Ding Yuhua: In the past three years, the United Nations has held three global climate conferences in Copenhagen, Cancun, and Durban to discuss how to better handle the relationship between economic development and energy, the environment, society, and humanity, and gradually reached coordination in all fields. We can see that all countries in the world are doing everything possible to find ways to deal with the economic crisis. Tire World Net: With the increasing economic development of society, what kind of relationship is there between energy, environment and economy?

Ding Yuhua: In October 2009, our Triangle Tire organized the “International Summit on Sustainable Development of the Tire Industry” in Weihai City, Shandong Province. It has been more than two years since. In the past two years or so, the world is changing, China is also changing in development, and the automobile and tire industries are also changing.

As the economy becomes more and more globalized, it is no exaggeration to say that at present, human society’s concerns about energy consumption and environmental crisis are even more prominent than those of the economic crisis.

Every change in the relationship between them has brought about a certain degree of resistance to the development of the global economy and social civilization, and even stopped. Tire World Net: With the deepening of people's concerns about energy and environmental crisis, in the automobile industry, the demand for "energy saving and environmental protection" is getting higher and higher. What does this mean for the tire industry?

Ding Yuhua: The development of the automotive industry is an important symbol of industrialization, and it is also an important part of the human society’s large-scale production and progress in civilization. At present, China has more than 100 million vehicles and its annual output exceeds 18 million for two consecutive years. This indicates that China has entered the automobile society.

Many people may not know that tires, as an important high-speed running part of a car, consume more than 20% of the energy consumption of the entire vehicle during the driving of the car, second only to the engine. Therefore, energy-saving tire products can bring more than 5% fuel economy to the car. Ding Yuhua: Fundamentally speaking, this is a new understanding and positioning of people's economic development and the relationship between human survival and the natural environment. Ding Yuhua: The development of the automobile and tire industries should be based on the development of human society's material civilization, spiritual civilization, and ecological civilization. The basic environmental policy of the Triangle Group has always been to protect the global environment, build green homes, implement clean production, and conserve resources and energy. Moreover, for a long time, energy saving and emission reduction projects have been the "green light" projects invested by the company.

Tire World Net: Does this mean that your company must increase investment in "energy conservation and environmental protection"? What is the result of this?

Ding Yuhua: In the past five years, the company's investment in energy-saving technologies has reached a total of 1.5 billion yuan, and the energy utilization efficiency has maintained an annual growth rate of 4%.

In 2011, the company closed a production line with 34 years of production history. Although the products on the line have a certain market space and profitability at home and abroad, in order to save energy, reduce emissions, speed up technology upgrades, and replace products, the company did so at no cost.

At present, the new product line after the transformation can basically achieve an energy saving effect of more than 15%, and can also make full use of clean energy in the production process; at the same time, this line also adopts digital technology and robot operation technology on the manufacturing system. Bar code intelligent technology, etc., realized the centralized management and control of information in the whole process of production, inspection and logistics, and embarked on a new path of “green smart factory” operation.

Tire World Net: It can be seen that Delta Group does have enough emphasis on “energy saving and environmental protection”. How can you ensure the final realization of the goals in your company's various plans and ideas?

Ding Yuhua: To achieve these goals, it mainly relies on two things: First, rely on technological innovation to promote industrial upgrading; second, use standards to lead the industry.

In recent years, the company has invested a large amount of funds, focusing on the construction of two major scientific research platforms of the National Technology Development Center and the National Tire Technology and Manufacturing Technology Engineering Laboratory, and has gone abroad to carry out technological research and development and strategic cooperation, strengthening international cooperation in science and technology and innovation platform for production, learning, research. .

In 2011, the company established the US Scientific Research Center, and conducted research cooperation with Akron University in the United States to research and develop advanced technologies. Ding Yuhua: As the chairman unit of the China Tire Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the chairman of the China Rubber Industry Association Tire Branch, and the chairman of the National Tire Rim Standardization Committee, Delta Group has always insisted that: in the process of industrial development, standardization should be the same as international Connected.

At present, the company is working with the relevant agencies of the state to initiate the "green tire industrialization" strategy and jointly research and formulate new tire technical performance standards, testing standards and environmental standards. Ding Yuhua: Yes, we must speed up the establishment and use of the productivity of technological innovation to provide better products for the global market.

At present, the company has achieved more than 200 independent innovation achievements in the fields of product design, material mechanics, manufacturing process, and equipment level, and has successfully achieved industrialization.
