In particular, since the entry into force of the ECFA agreement, under the dual stimulus of direct flights and preferential taxation policies, the efficiency of cross-strait commercial freight transportation has been increased and the cost has been reduced. Chemicals have quickly become the main direct cargo between Quangang and Taiwan.

At present, the two types of direct chemical cargoes mainly include vinyl acetate, diethylene glycol, styrene, acetone, and base oil, and more than 10 kinds of chemicals enjoying preferential tax rates for ECFA. The direct flights between the two places have brought cost advantages and logistics convenience to numerous petrochemical downstream companies in Quanzhou, Fuzhou and Putian.
