It is reported that the Greek shipowner ParagonShipping canceled one of the two 4777TEU wide-body container ships ordered by Ouhua Shipbuilding in March 2011, and after the container ship was cancelled, two bulk carriers were ordered at Ouhua Shipbuilding.
According to Alphaliner, the price of the remaining 4777TEU container ship has also dropped from $57.5 million to $55 million, and the ship was delivered in the second quarter of 2014.
Greek BoxShips will own the 4777TEU container ship and hand it over to AllseasMarine for operation. BoxShips was established in April 2011.
BoxShips owns 9 container ships, 8 of which are chartered to Maersk Line, with ships ranging in size from 3,426 to 6,589 TEU.
