Structure and Principle
The PSC slab centrifuge is based on the discharge drum design. The motor directly drives the drum to rotate at high speed, creating a centrifugal force field. It is not a falling type high-speed centrifuge, but it has a high speed and a large separation factor. It is equipped with a closed upper lid and feeding tubes that allow material to enter from the top center into the device. The liquid is uniformly deposited on the drum wall, and under high-speed rotation, the centrifugal force causes the solid material to deposit on the drum wall. The liquid is discharged through a siphon system, while the solid phase is manually unloaded from the top after the machine stops.
Main Features
The design is rational and eliminates health corners. The structural parts have smooth transitions, the surface is polished, and external components, fasteners, and materials in contact are made of stainless steel. The shell can be laminated for cleaning. The base and flat structure reduce the machine's center of gravity, and the overall base and shell are welded for strength. It is equipped with liquid rubber damping shock absorbers to effectively eliminate vibration without the need for a foundation. The shell can be flipped for large or small sizes, and the cover can be equipped with feeding tubes, washing pipes, observation ports, light holes, and spray systems. Other protective devices can be equipped with nitrogen to ensure isolation between the centrifuge chamber and outside air. The specific motor type and belt drive eliminate potential dust, and the inverter start ensures smooth operation and dynamic braking. The sealing performance is excellent and can be explosion-proof, suitable for toxic and flammable environments.
