Patent Product High Speed Flat Type Sedimentation Centrifuge
This model is designed for feed solutions with high solid content and fine particles that are difficult to filter. It is suitable for situations where there is a significant density difference between the phases. The equipment can be used independently or as a pre-treatment process for tube separators. When operating in conjunction with other devices such as bowls, it offers large capacity and simple operation.
Structure and Principle
The PSC slab centrifuge operates on the principle of discharge. The drum is directly driven by a motor and rotates at high speed, creating a strong centrifugal force field. This high-speed operation allows for a large separation factor. The equipment is equipped with a closed upper lid and feeding tubes, allowing the liquid to be fed from the center of the drum. As the drum spins, the liquid is evenly distributed along the inner wall, and solids are deposited while the liquid is removed via a siphon system. The solid phase is manually unloaded after the machine is shut down.
Main Features
The design is rational and eliminates dead corners. The parts have smooth transitions, and the surface is polished. All external components, fasteners, and materials in contact with the product are made of stainless steel. The shell can be opened for cleaning. The base and flat structure reduce the machine's center of gravity, ensuring stability. The machine is equipped with liquid rubber damping systems that effectively reduce vibration without requiring a foundation. The shell can be flipped for easy access, and it can be equipped with feeding tubes, washing pipes, observation ports, and spray systems. Protective devices like nitrogen can be added to ensure isolation between the centrifuge chamber and outside air. The motor is a direct type, and belt drive minimizes dust. Inverter start ensures smooth operation and dynamic braking. The sealing performance is excellent, making it suitable for explosive and toxic environments.
