Taizhou has the right to produce copper valves

Recently, the "Broken Copper Ball Valves and Globe Valves for Gas Pipelines" and "Technical Conditions of Copper Alloy Forgings for Valves" drafted by the Municipal Special Inspection Center were officially approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Standardization Administration Committee as national standards.

It is understood that these two standards are completed under the guidance of the city's special inspection center. Together with the establishment of three copper valve manufacturers above designated size. Among them, the "Bronze ball valve and globe valve for gas pipelines" standard will be implemented on September 1 this year; the "Technical conditions for valve copper alloy forgings" standard will be implemented on March 1, 2014.

At present, China's domestic valve product production base is mainly distributed in Guangdong, Fujian Province and our province's Ningbo, Yuhuan and other places. With nearly 1,000 valve manufacturing companies and annual output value of nearly 30 billion yuan Yuhuan, it is also known as "the capital of China's valve."

However, in the valve industry, in addition to local standards, there are no national standards or industry standards in the field of special valves. As all companies have adopted their own corporate standards, the products and types of products in the valve industry have been confusing in the past, and the products also have varying degrees of security risks.

“This time we participated in the formulation of two new national standards, which means that the 'Taizhou Standard' has filled the gap in the domestic standard for copper valves for gas pipelines. At the same time, the Taizhou Special Inspection Center and Taizhou valve manufacturing companies have also gained strong words in the industry. The power has also increased the popularity of participating in the formulation of enterprises, and it can be said to be more than one benefit,” said Li Longjun, a staff member of the special inspection center of the city.
