On November 9, China's first new full-face rock tunnelling machine successfully went offline at Qinhuangdao Tianye Tonglian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. This marks that China has broken the monopoly pattern of foreign countries in the field of full-surface rock tunneling machines. The new full-line rock tunnelling machine will be used for the Ethiopian GD-3 hydropower station project undertaken by China Gezhouba Group.
