·The world's first electric vehicle battery replacement system IEC standard officially released

Recently, the IEC international standard "General Motors and Vehicles Replacement System Part 1 General and Guidelines" (IEC TS 62840-1), which was led by NARI Group, was officially released.
This standard fills the gap in the international electric vehicle battery replacement system, and enhances China's international influence and voice in the field of electric vehicle charging and replacing. Under the background of the “One Belt, One Road” strategy, “going out for Chinese equipment and standards” "It has exemplary meaning.
Electric vehicle charging and battery replacement technology are two different ways of energy supply for electric vehicles, and are also a bottleneck restricting the development of electric vehicles. The battery replacement technology has good application scenarios in the public transportation fields such as public transportation and taxis. From the perspective of technology development, the battery replacement technology is fast, safe and reliable, and has the competitiveness to expand the application field.
From the perspective of the development of equipment manufacturing industry, the standard in this field is an important measure to open up the market “going out”. Leading the formulation of replacement battery standards, standardizing battery replacement systems, battery replacement stations, support systems, battery packs, etc., standardizing the basic structure, composition, interface and classification of electric vehicle battery replacement systems, and providing use case analysis of battery replacement systems And solutions, these work will promote the healthy development of the electric vehicle industry, get rid of dependence on foreign standards, and have a forward-looking and guiding role.
Nanrui Group is one of the units that started the standardization work of electric vehicle charging and replacing systems earlier. The standard was applied by China in August 2013 and was officially approved by the International Electrotechnical Commission's Technical Committee for Electric Road Vehicles and Electric Commercial Trucks (IEC TC69).
In the process of standard preparation, experts from Nanrui Group acted as convener, including more than 10 countries including the United States, Germany and France, the three largest automobile producing countries in Europe and the United States. After two years of closed preparation, discussion, teleconference, face-to-face meetings and other forms of work, in October 2015, all members of the TC69 voted to pass.
