W?rtsil? Moss AS has received a contract from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine, and a Floating Production Storage and Offloading Unit (FPSO) provides an inert gas generator (IGG).
It is reported that the FPSO is expected to be delivered in April 2016 and will meet strict Australian environmental standards with an operational life cycle of 40 years for the Ichthys LNG project operated by Inpex.
The equipment provided by Wärtsiläm Moss includes two identical inert gas generator slides for installation in hazardous areas to prevent the risk of explosion and to form a freeboard module with a pressure vacuum circuit breaker and control system.
