Nanjing DSM Dongfang Chemical Co., Ltd. caprolactam expansion project officially started. The total investment of the project is about 300 million U.S. dollars. After the expansion, the production capacity will be increased from the current 200,000 tons/year to 400,000 tons/year, thus becoming the largest caprolactam production base in the world. The project is planned to be completed and put into operation in the third quarter of 2013.
