SRT-3 furnace technology reaches world advanced and domestic leading level
China Drying Network News China Petrochemical's scientific research project "using CBL technology to transform SRT-3 furnace industrial applications" has recently passed the appraisal of Sinopec. The project is jointly undertaken by the Northern Furnace Development Team, consisting of Tianhua Chemical Machinery and Automation Research and Design Institute, China Petrochemical Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. and Beijing Chemical Industry Research Institute.
After more than a year of research, experimentation, design, and construction, the researchers from the three companies successfully modified the four SRT-3 furnaces imported from the United States using the latest technology from CBL. After more than one year of industrial operation, the reformed cracking furnace has the advantages of long operating cycle (120 days), high thermal efficiency (95%) and stable operation. Its technology has reached the world's advanced and domestic leading level.
