Cicero experienced a significant fire at 5346 W 23rd Place on Wednesday morning. When Engine 7 arrived, they found a one-and-a-half story wood-frame structure with heavy fire visible on the first floor. Firefighters launched an aggressive attack, pushing up to the second floor where fire was hidden in the attic and knee walls. Engine 2 had three lines deployed, while Truck 1 and 2 had their main lines in place. Here are some photos taken around 10 minutes into the incident.
