High-temperature resin technology is significantly saving water
The Jilin Petrochemical Company's chemical fertilizer plant recently used high-temperature resin instead of ordinary resin in the high-pressure unit of the ammonia plant, which not only solved the bottleneck problem of production safety, but also achieved the purpose of saving water and improving the quality of water recovered.
The ammonia plant of this plant will experience severe fouling of the impeller of the high pressure unit after a period of operation. Researchers through technical research, found that the crux of the problem is the low temperature and poor adsorption performance of common resins. To this end, they carried out technological transformation of the high-pressure unit, used high-temperature resin, installed a bypass valve, and recovered the turbine steam condensate through the mixed-bed treatment, which solved the problem of high temperature and poor water quality when recovering the steam condensate. Flat impeller fouling is greatly reduced. After the technical reform was implemented, it not only solved the production bottleneck problem, but also saved 110,000 tons of water annually and created more than 600,000 yuan.
