Japan's largest analytical instrument exhibition "JAIMA EXPO2010-SIS2010" was held

According to the organizers, a total of 1361 booths were exhibited at this exhibition, an increase of 40% compared with last year. More than 450 scientific instrument companies and nearly 30,000 industry professionals from around the world participated, and 40 from 12 countries abroad. According to the types of instruments, the number of papers related to spectroscopic instruments increased significantly from 33 in last year to 40; X-ray instruments and surface analysis instruments The number of related papers increased by 6 and 4 respectively compared to last year. According to the application areas, 54 environmental monitoring articles were released, an increase of 18% over the previous year. The number of material inspections also increased from 76 in last year to 95 in this year.

The JAIMA exhibition began in 1962 and is held once a year. 2010 was the 48th and renamed JAIMA EXPO2010-SIS2010. The theme of this JAIMA EXPO 2010 is "Securing a Healthy Future with Analytical Technology"; the theme of SIS 2010 is "Science and Technology: Leading the Way to Tomorrow".

Internationally renowned instrument manufacturers such as ThermoFisher, Agilent, PerkinElmer, HORIBA, Shimadzu, JEOL, Bruker, and SII all appeared at the show, and most of them were mainly Japanese instrument manufacturers.
