Introduction of Magnetic SeparatorMagnetic separators are widely used in industries such as mining, agriculture, ceramics, and chemical processing. They are ideal for separating materials with different magnetic properties, especially those with particle sizes below 3mm. This includes magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, and ilmenite. Additionally, they can be used for deironing coal, non-metallic minerals, and building materials. The magnetic system is a combination of fine ferrite material and rare earth magnets, offering a surface magnetic induction intensity of 100~600mT. Customers can choose from various types based on their needs, such as downstream, semi-reflux, or reflux models.
Working Principle of Magnetic Separator
When the ore pulp enters the trough through the feeding box, it flows into the feeding zone under water flow. Under the influence of the magnetic field, magnetic particles form clusters or chains. These move toward the magnetic pole due to the magnetic force and get adsorbed onto the cylinder. As the cylinder rotates, the alternating polarity of the magnetic poles causes gangue and non-magnetic particles to fall off. The magnetic concentrate is then discharged by flush water, while non-magnetic or weakly magnetic materials remain in the pulp and are discharged as tailings.
