On June 22, 2010, the Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission issued the 2010 New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Action Plan, and strived for five enterprises across the province to pass national examinations to obtain new energy vehicle manufacturing enterprises and product access licenses. The energy automotive industry sales revenue reached 10 billion yuan.
At present, there are more than 50 new energy automobile companies in Jiangsu Province, with an annual sales income of over 7 billion yuan. Related companies have developed dozens of new energy vehicle vehicle products, including three models of products listed in the National Energy Conservation and New Energy Vehicle Demonstration, Promotion and Application Project List. Industry sources pointed out that although Jiangsu Province does not have an advantage in vehicle manufacturing, key components such as power batteries are relatively leading. This year, various provinces and cities will launch new energy automobile projects, and the sales volume of accessory products in Jiangsu Province will increase significantly.
It is reported that Jiangsu Province will build new energy vehicles and key components and characteristic industrial bases in Nanjing, Changzhou, Suzhou and Yancheng to guide industrial agglomeration, improve industrial support, and lengthen the industrial chain.
