Use the exclusion method to test the problem of Sizheng pickups

Some users have noticed that the pickups connected to the network cameras often have problems with unclear or inaudible sound. The cause of these problems is often not pickup problems. The following Xiao Bian to everyone to explain how to use the exclusion method to detect the existence of the problem.
A front-end pickup (step)
Separate the pickup and the camera separately to test the pickup
In general, most pickups are three-wire
First divide the black line of the Sizheng pickup into two
Connect the red and black wires A to the positive and negative electrodes of the power supply
Finally, the white line and black line B of the pickup are respectively connected to the left and right headphones
Put on headphones (talk) to hear if there is a sound, and if the sound is normal, it means that the pickup works well

II. Test Network Camera
Before selecting the network camera, you must first confirm whether the camera has audio input (if the audio input has MIC IN and LINE IN, please select the corresponding pickup according to the input mode). The pickup connects the network camera to the camera audio input mode between different manufacturers on the market. There are different, here we introduce the use of Hai Kang camera as a reference:
Put the black line of the pickup into two
The red and black lines of the pickup are connected to the positive and negative poles of the power supply
The white line + black line B of the pickup is connected to the audio input port of the camera

After the wiring is completed, the camera settings are made. Although most of the cameras have audio turned on by default, some cameras are closed.
So we must complete the audio setup (pictured)
Connect the camera (pickup) to your LAN
1. Open the computer IE browser, enter the camera IP (default IP for each manufacturer is different, please refer to the camera manual)
2. Enter the login account password (default for each manufacturer, please refer to the camera manual)

3. Enter the system interface and click on the audio pattern under the video to hear if there is a sound (note that if your computer (using the speaker) and the camera (pickup) are in the same environment at this time and the distance may be closer, please whistle. Separate or lower each other's volume. If the sound is normal, no further action is required. (Figure)

4. If there is no sound (or abnormal) on the above operation, click Configuration to enter the configuration interface
Click Configure → Audio Video → Video Type Select Composite Stream

Click Configuration → Audio → Video → Audio → Audio Input There are several options for the device. Please choose the corresponding input mode according to the camera. Audio decoding defaults to G.711 If there are multiple options you can try to select the best audio decoding mode. (Figure)

Save back to the preview interface, click on the audio pattern to continue listening
Different cameras may have different interfaces and their functions are different. Please operate according to the camera instructions.
Make sure the camera has audio input through the above settings. If it is normal, it will enter the backend setting. If it is not normal, please understand the camera's audio input parameters to ensure that the input impedance matches the pickup. Because the camera brands and models are different, Si Zheng The pickups cannot ensure that all manufacturers' audio interfaces are unified. Therefore, it is recommended that you consult the camera manufacturer's various audio parameters before purchasing the camera to avoid incompatibility during installation.
Third, the back end detection
In the case of determining that the various settings of the pickup and the camera are normal, we can enter the back-end detection to exclude
In general, the back end uses NVR or computer host as storage (control). The NVR interfaces of different manufacturers are different. Therefore, firstly, check whether the audio output wiring is normal (different NVR audio output interfaces may be different, common are BNC, 3.5, and Lotus heads), and then set the audio according to the device manual. In general, you should hear the sound after you complete the settings. If it doesn't work, it is recommended that you replace the back-end device (if one or two steps are normal, you can only prove that the back-end device is defective)...
