Power Distribution Unit

The Energy Manager for the eKit48
In the eKit48, all components connect to the Power Distribution Unit. It’s the primary component responsible for safe and efficient energy distribution. Whether dealing with low or high voltage, we customize the PDU to match the dimensions of all components. We prioritize thoughtful power line installation, offering standard cable harnesses or tailor-made solutions for optimal energy distribution.

Batteries & Charging Devices

LIOS 48 Battery System
Innovative, Intelligent, and Powerful. Many manufacturers bond battery cells together with excessive heat, causing them to degrade faster. Using our patented contact system, Invenox securely clamps cells between two aluminum core PCBs. Elastic and highly conductive materials ensure stable contact even under vibration, while pole contact cooling efficiently dissipates heat. Defective battery cells can be easily replaced thanks to the reversible clamp connection, making our modules recyclable. For maximum reliability, our battery management system monitors the state of each cell on two independent levels.
Charging Management
Interfaces Compatible Worldwide. Wallboxes, Schuko, and CEE connections vary in requirements but share a common goal: ensuring safe charging. Following the guidelines of the Low Voltage Directive and EMC, we provide pre-configured modules. As a key part of our eKit48, we’ve got the perfect solution for every connection worldwide. Our charging tech spans power ranges from 1.5 to 12 kW and works with supply voltages from 100 to 240 Vac. Equipped with an ECSE controller, CAN interface, and EVSE compatible communication interface (SAE-J1772 & EN-61851-1), our charging management is used globally.

Drive Sets
Turnkey Sets for Swift Implementation. Beyond standard motors, we offer complete drive sets including a motor, perfectly matched converter, and cable harness. All sets are tested and parameterized on our own drive test benches. Delivered with a complete parameter set, they’re ready to go once installed in your application. Our drive set variants in the eKit48 series cater to applications requiring high speeds and torques. With air or water cooling and various flange and shaft types, we have a solution for every application.
Mobile, Variable-Speed Air Coolers
For Needs-Based Cooling Without Energy Loss. Developed to meet the unique challenges of electrification, our AC-M air cooler series features a DC motor, offering a cost-effective solution for cooling e-motors and inverters in electric vehicles. Our focus is on a compact, variable-speed design. This ensures the cooler only consumes as much energy as needed. Noise and vibrations are minimized since our solution cools as required. Another benefit? It’s quick and easy to install in the eKit48.

Software & Controllers

Mix & Match – Certified Modules for a Quick Start
MATCH is our control software for mobile machinery. It consists of function modules that can be combined flexibly. These are certified and tested, saving time and ensuring safety. Functional safety is considered from the outset. Reliable communication in a system requires the right cable harness as well as software. Along with our communication cable harness, we also offer 12 or 24 V interfaces for external consumers. This means your software and cables are ready to go—you just need to add your specific requirements.
Controllers
Software Interfaces with Robust Protection. For the eKit48 to operate flawlessly, it needs well-thought-out controllers. We protect these both internally and externally. Thanks to their robust design, they're equipped for harsh off-highway conditions. Inside, they boast numerous safety certifications.
