· Import smart car has quality and safety risks
It was learned from the quarantine department that the Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau recently found that the fortwocoupe 52kW (453343/FJ4DA) model of the imported smart car headlight combination control system has quality and safety risks. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued a warning notice requesting all automobile import port inspection and quarantine bureaus to strengthen the inspection of the arrival of imported elves.
On August 4 this year, the Guangzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau inspected three batches of 504 Daimler's French Elf cars produced at the Xinsha Port. It was found that the vehicle was directly turned off when the high beam was turned on. When the high beam is turned on and the engine is turned off and then the light is turned off, there will be a direct failure of the vehicle lighting control or a failure of the light control after the engine is restarted, which may present a safety hazard.
The Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau immediately took the port risk control measures for the above vehicles and suspended the relevant release procedures. According to statistics, as of August 2015, the total number of imported elves in the country was 6,466.
