The reporter learned from Chengdu on (22) days yesterday that the 12 food drying centers planned by the city last year have been completed on schedule, marking the full implementation of the 60-grain drying center planned for the city in three years.
In 2016, Chengdu will use the “grain drying center construction†project as the “livelihood project†of the city. At present, the planned 12 grain drying centers are scheduled to be completed on schedule. Among them, the construction of grain drying centers in major grain-producing areas such as Chongzhou City, Handan City and Dayi County basically solved the problem of post-harvest drying of local foods, reduced the loss of grain harvest, improved grain quality, and increased the income of farmers. At the same time, last year Chengdu also completed the construction of 3,000 small granaries for scientific storage of farmer households, allowing the “Huiong Action†to be implemented.
In addition, Chengdu further developed the deep processing of grain and oil. In 2016, Qingbaijiang and Xinjin COFCO Chengdu Industrial Park achieved sales of 973,200 tons of processing trade, and the total industrial output value reached 4.763 billion yuan, an increase of 11.03% and 27.32% year-on-year respectively. At the same time, in 2016, 24 “rest assured grain and oil†demonstration stores and 20 “rest assured grain and oil†flagship stores in Chengdu were fully completed. With the establishment of a communication platform between Sichuan Grain Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Yimin Caishi City, Chengdu secured the grain and oil sales network.
