Wheaton Fire Department ceremony

Here's a message from John Tulipano:

I had the privilege of attending another Swearing-In and Promotional Ceremony this time at the Wheaton Fire Department on Thursday, May 28, 2015. It was a proud moment to witness the dedication and commitment of these individuals who are now serving their community in new roles.

The following individuals were sworn in as new firefighters:

  • Nick Mellinger
  • Matt Ackerman

And the following were promoted to Lieutenant:

  • Chris Hunecke
  • Mike Byas
  • Mike Franzone

Additionally, the following were promoted to Assistant Chief:

  • Jeff MacKay
  • Pete Vassios

Congratulations to all of them on their well-deserved achievements. It’s always inspiring to see hard work pay off and to be part of such meaningful events.
