Compared with the Western gear pump industry, China's gear pump industry has two major competitive advantages: on the one hand, it has a low-cost competitive advantage; on the other hand, it is the high-speed growth of domestic construction, petroleum, petrochemical and environmental protection markets and major water transfer projects. It also provides important support for the development of China's gear pump industry. The continuously growing market space in China is a prerequisite for the domestic gear pump industry to maintain its advantages.

In the next few years, China’s economic development will continue to be vigorous and powerful, and domestic demand for gear pumps will still be in short supply. Therefore, the prospects of the domestic gear pump industry in the next few years are still very objective. In the next five years, the goal of the development plan of the gear pump industry is that the proportion of research and development investment in the GDP of the water pump manufacturing industry will increase to more than 6%, and the contribution of the water pump manufacturing technology will increase. It reached 68% and promoted the establishment of a special water pump manufacturing industry with modern equipment manufacturing as its core.
