According to reports, the propeller will be assembled on the 205,000-ton bulk carrier of Qingdao Yangfan (Location Shipyard News) Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. The energy-saving cap hub for the propeller has a diameter of 2.33 meters and a weight of 1.8 tons, which can reduce the energy consumption of ships by 2% to 3%. This is the largest cap that Zhenjiang Tongzhou Company has produced so far. The energy-saving hub cap can effectively eliminate the propeller noise and reduce vibration, thus improving the comfort of the ship.
