Johnson Controls' new CEO took office on October 1
The United States Johnson Controls announced that AlexA.Molinaroli will join the board of directors on October 1st this year and become the new president and CEO. At the same time, he is also elected as the next chairman by the board of directors. Effective January 1, 2014.

Johnson Controls' current chairman and CEO Stephen A. Roell will retire on December 31 this year, and he will also leave the Johnson Controls board of directors.
Since joining Johnson Controls in 1982, Stephen Rolle has worked for the company for 30 years. He served as CEO and chairman of the board in October 2007 and January 2008, respectively. During his tenure, Johnson Controls reported a record revenue of $41.8 billion in 2012, and the global workforce has reached nearly 170,000.
AlexA.Molinaroli joined the Johnson Controls Building Facilities Benefit Group in 1983 and was named president of the Power Solutions Group in 2007. In January of this year, he was elected vice chairman. From October 1 this year, AlexA.Molinaroli will become the ninth CEO of Johnson Controls in history.
