Since March 19, 2015, some of the 2014 and 2015 models of the Land Rover Range Rover in the Chinese mainland have been called to import Land Rover Range Rover Aurora vehicles (2014, production date: July 15, 2013 - June 3, 2014, vehicles) The identification code range is LV824476 - LV955850; in 2015, the production date is June 3, 2014 - December 24, 2014, and the vehicle identification code range is LV000001 - LV996109,), totaling 36,451 units.
Some vehicles within this recall range may have transmission failure lights due to certain usage conditions, and there may be problems such as shifting performance degradation and gearbox noise. After repeated technical certifications, we confirmed that the related fault was caused by a mismatch in the transmission software. Adhering to the "customer first" principle, Jaguar Land Rover China will perform free testing and software upgrades for all vehicles in the range to optimize the performance of the nine-speed automatic transmission.
At the same time, in order to express apologies to Chinese consumers, Jaguar Land Rover China announced that the warranty period for the nine-speed transmission of the vehicles involved will be extended to 7 years or 240,000 kilometers (from the date of purchase of the vehicle, whichever comes first) ).
