LED bulb prices continue to fall in June

According to LEDinside's latest LED bulb retail price survey conducted by Global Energy Research Institute's Green Energy Division, the price of LED bulbs in all regions in June 2013 showed a steady downward trend. The global retail price of LED bulbs replacing 40W declined slightly by 2.7 to US$15.6, with the most obvious price drop in China. The global average price of replacing 60W LED bulbs in the world fell slightly by 1.6 to reach US$23.4.

In the UK, prices in June fell by 4.4, and the prices of original commodities fell steadily. There were fewer new items this month. The average price of goods in Germany increased by 1.3 in June, and the price of original commodities fluctuated slightly, mainly due to the fall in the exchange rate.
The average price of goods replacing 40W in Japan has dropped by about 4.2, and the prices of original commodities have steadily declined. There are no new items in the region. The average price of commodities in the United States fell by 5.4 in June, and the prices of original commodities basically fell steadily, with fewer new items this month. According to LEDinside, in June, except for some commodities that rebounded due to the end of the promotion period, most of the commodity prices in other regions showed a steady or falling trend. In China, local brands such as Shangyu and BYD have lowered their prices. Hongli's lighting brand, Ladia, also opened an online flagship store in June and promoted LED bulbs at low prices. In Taiwan, following the launch of Toshiba's low-priced products, Philips also announced a new generation of light bulbs in July, a price drop of more than 20.
